With so many filament types, it can be hard to know which to choose. To simplify, Fiberon™ is Polymaker's new line of fiber-reinforced 3D printing materials, including strong carbon and glass fiber filaments. These materials print without an enclosure and require an abrasion-resistant nozzle (except PETG-ESD). The number in the name (e.g., CF10 or GF30) indicates the fiber content; balancing strength & printability.
You may have noticed that some of our Polymide products now carry the name Fiberon™. This refined new branding reflects our dedication to advancing high-performance composite filaments, optimizing both printability and cost-performance ratio. Nylon is a versatile filament that offers excellent strength and flexibility, making it ideal for functional applications. That’s why we wanted to elaborate on this line of material as well, highlighting its importance within our expanding family of fiber-reinforced materials. Fiberon emerged to better represent the strength, innovation, and quality of these advanced composites.
Now that we know what Fiberon™ is, let's explore some awesome ways to use it! These high-strength filaments are perfect for:
Fiberon™ by Polymaker is engineered for top-tier performance with a strong focus on delivering exceptional stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability. Reinforced with glass fiber and carbon fiber, Fiberon™ materials enable users to print high-quality, end-use parts that combine durability and precision. This advanced fiber reinforcement ensures parts are lightweight yet robust, minimizing the need for excessive support structures or post-processing.
Each Fiberon™ product is carefully formulated to optimize printing efficiency, making these materials an ideal source for users seeking high-performance 3D printing filaments. The fiber-reinforced composition enhances mechanical properties such as strength and stiffness, allowing for the creation of parts that withstand demanding applications and environments.
Polymaker provides transparent information about material composition, recommended uses, and printing guidelines to help users achieve the best results. By choosing Fiberon™, you invest in reliable, high-quality materials designed to push the limits of what’s possible with additive manufacturing.
High heat resistance is a new frontier for desktop FDM printing, meaning there aren't many files designed for these applications yet. However,
Fiberon™ PPS-CF10 excels where other materials fall short—making it perfect for components in your car engine! (Click the image)
