We’re back from Shanghai and what a show it was.
Additive Manufacturing Asia 2026:
TCT Asia 2026, Asia’s premier annual event for 3D printing and additive manufacturing, took place from March 17–19 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China. As a leading manufacturer with a strong presence in the Chinese market, Polymaker was proud to exhibit and it turned out to be one of our most memorable shows yet.
Over three packed days, we had the privilege of welcoming hundreds of visitors to our booth: clients, collaborators, engineers, designers, end users, and creators from across Asia and beyond. It was an incredible opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners, meet new faces, and hear firsthand from end users how Polymaker materials are being put to work in the real world. Feedback and collaboration with end users are essential in driving innovation and ensuring our materials meet the evolving needs of the additive manufacturing community. These conversations are what drive us forward.

Our booth was designed as a fully immersive experience part technology showcase, part creative gallery, part hands-on playground. This year, we featured the latest innovations in 3D printing materials and technology, underscoring our commitment to advancing the industry.
PolyCoreâ„¢ Pellet Printing in Action
Two striking art installations, including a functional display wall reaching nearly 2 meters tall demonstrated the creative potential of large-format pellet printing. 3D printing with pellets enables the creation of complex shapes and highly customized structures, offering unparalleled design flexibility for both artistic and functional applications. In addition to art, we highlighted how pellet printing is transforming construction, enabling large-scale fabrication of architectural elements and innovative building components. Alongside the artistic side, we showcased aerospace-grade assembly tooling and high-performance composite molds: components produced in days, not weeks, maintaining dimensional precision at curing temperatures up to 180°C.
Three Industry Applications, One Big Statement

Fiberonâ„¢ Continuous Fiber Composites
Live demonstrations showed carbon fiber and fiberglass-reinforced parts in action: robotic arms, drone structures, and lightweight load-bearing components pushing the boundaries of what desktop manufacturing can achieve.
Panchromaâ„¢ Designer Showcase
A curated collection of limited-edition works by emerging designers turned our booth into a small gallery, proving that 3D printing is as much a creative medium as it is an industrial tool.
The 3D Printed Aquascape
One of the most talked-about features of the booth, a fully 3D printed underwater habitat, made entirely from aquatic-safe materials, that captivated visitors young and old alike.
Beyond the displays, our interactive games kept the energy high all three days. Visitors tested their knowledge of material properties, took on fun challenges, and walked away with exclusive Polymaker gifts and keepsakes. The smiles and enthusiasm on the show floor reminded us why we do what we do.
